Honeycomb



































            In Emilia Romagna, Italy, brothers Fabrizio and
            Pierpaola have been tending bees and collecting

            honey for over 20 years.  To create this honeycomb,
            they designed the innovative rectangular forms to fit
            within the hives, into which the bees build the
            honeycomb directly.  The tray can then be removed
            from the its little plastic box and the sides of the form
            snapped away for serving.

            Honeycomb is 100% edible and has a naturally long
            shelf life and is very, very versatile. It makes a beauti-
            ful addition to a cheese board, and pairs well with
            almost any cheese.  We are especially fond of it with
            a ripe goat cheese, like Monte Enebro, or a hard
            cheese like Pecorino Tosacano.
