Byron Russell

           CEO/CHAIRMAN,
           CHENEY BROTHERS, INC.

Cheney Brothers opened its doors in 1925 in downtown West Palm Beach. Founder Joe Cheney
saw a need for supplying quality fresh foods to hotels and restaurants opening in Palm Beach
County. From that opening day, Joe Cheney recognized that the success of his business
depended on his customers' success and satisfaction. This deep-rooted business philosophy
continues today with fourth-generation Cheney family members working for the company as
exemplified through the practices of Cheney's grandson, Byron Russell, the company's present
           Chairman and CEO.

Over the past 88 years, the company has seen tremendous growth and prosperity. Since Cheney
Brothers' humble beginning of delivering simple staples of eggs, milk and cheese, the company
has expanded and carries over 15, 000 different items, including fresh food, paper products and
cleaning supplies. Numerous varieties of fresh-cut meats, abundant selections of French fries,
fresh produce, coffees, juices and cooking supplies fill the aisles of the distribution centers. On
any given day, before dawn, hundreds of Cheney trucks leave from their 300,000 square foot
distribution center in Riviera Beach and from their 490,000 square foot distribution center in
Ocala to deliver fresh products across Florida, Georgia and the Caribbean. Cheney Brothers has
worked to expand its branding using the CBI label on over 3,500 products.

Today CBI employs over 1,600 people, making it one of the largest private employers in Palm
           Beach County.
